Aviation Flight Supplemental Application

Due to the nature of instruction, capacity in the aviation flight major is limited, and admission to the major will be limited and selective for the 2025-2026 academic year. Aviation flight applicants who are admissible to the University will be prompted to complete a supplemental application for consideration to the major. 

Supplemental Application Process

Fall 2025 aviation flight applicants who are admissible to the University will be admitted undecided to University College. After applying to the University, students must submit the Aviation Flight Supplemental Application for further consideration in aviation flight. Priority consideration is given to students who apply to the aviation flight major and have a complete application on file by the November 15 early action deadline.

Deadlines

  • Students who apply to the aviation flight major and have a complete application on file by the November 15 early action deadline should submit the Aviation Flight Supplemental Application by December 2, 2024, for full consideration. 
  • Students who apply to the aviation flight major and have a complete application on file by the February 1 rolling admission deadline should submit the Aviation flight Supplemental Application by February 15, 2025, for consideration.  

Students not selected for the aviation flight major will remain in University College, where they will work closely with dedicated advisors who are committed to helping students navigate their academic options and prepare for their future program of study. Because of the highly selective nature of the aviation flight major, opportunities to transfer into the major at a later time are not available.
