    Advising Resources

To make the most out of your advising session, we recommend students come to their advising session with classes in mind.

    • Be sure to schedule your advising session before the enrollment period begins.
    • Review your DARS and consider what requirements you still need to fill. (DARS FAQs)
    • Browse the course offerings for interesting classes. Brainstorm a list of eight to 10 classes to discuss with your advisor.
    • Academic advising is a great time to ask questions about how you will meet the study away requirements.

Advising for Graduate Students
