Get Involved with Social Justice on Campus

SJ

About:

The Social Justice Series is an initiative designed to immerse students in experiential learning opportunities about diversity in Ohio. This project offers a range of activities, including experiential learning sessions, guest speakers, book discussion groups, and digital storytelling.

Students take on roles as organizers, facilitators, participants, and volunteers.

Participants are encouraged to engage in various free activities, earn a non-credit certificate, and contribute to the organization and execution of the projects.

Student Ambassadors Needed!

As a Social Justice Student Ambassador, you will collaborate with other students to set up and organize events. Additionally, you can add the Student Ambassador role to your resume, receive a certificate of recognition, and earn a small stipend as compensation.

Email Dr. Pamela Kaylor or Dr. Kevin Cordi to express your interest in becoming a Student Ambassador.

Fall '24 and Spring '25 Events:

All Social Justice Series activities are free of charge.

This initiative is paid for by a grant from the Ohio University Office of Experiential Learning
