Update on search for OHIO’s next vice president for University Advancement, president/CEO of Ohio University Foundation

Ohio University is moving forward in the search for its next vice president for University Advancement and president and CEO of the Ohio University Foundation.

The national search began in May with the goal of naming the next vice president early in the fall semester.

The search committee is being led by co-chairs:

  • Lyn Redington, Vice President for Student Affairs; Interim Vice President for University Advancement and President and CEO of The Ohio University Foundation
  • Kenneth Johnson, Executive Dean and Chief Medical Affairs Officer, Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine

Additional members of the search committee include:

  • Jenn Bennett, Executive Director of OHIO Wellness and Director of WellWorks Wellness Center; Chair of Administrative Senate
  • William Brand, Ohio University Foundation, Trustee
  • Timothy Busch, Ohio University Foundation, Trustee
  • Julie Cromer, Director of Athletics
  • Laurie Lach, Assistant Vice President for Campus Partnerships, Ohio University Alumni Association
  • Mary Elizabeth Miles, Vice President for University Human Resources
  • Greg Moore, Vice Chair of the Ohio University Alumni Association Board of Directors
  • Jackie Reau, Ohio University Foundation, Trustee
  • Sarah Schneider, Director of Development Major Giving, University Advancement
  • David Stowe, Associate Professor of Finance, College of Business; Faculty Senate Member
  • Dawn Tabata, Senior Advisor for Principal Prospects and Donor Strategy, University Advancement

Redington was named as the interim vice president for University Advancement and President and CEO of the Ohio University Foundation, in addition to her role as the vice president for student affairs, in February 2024.  The search committee hopes to complete its search for the new vice president for University Advancement and president and CEO of the Ohio University Foundation during the fall semester.
