First-Year Students

For priority consideration, students should apply to the University by the November 15 early action deadline. Applicants who apply after the early action deadline will be considered on a space-available basis.

Students who apply to the University by the early action deadline and meet the minimum g.p.a. requirement for the OHIO Honors Program or OHP-designated honors and scholars programs will be invited to complete a separate supplemental application in order to apply to any and all honors and scholars programs that interest them. 

Transfer Students

The OHIO Honors Program will consider transfer applications from high-achieving students outside of OHIO and on both the Athens and regional campuses, if space allows. Students must possess a minimum 3.3 GPA at the time they apply and must complete at least four semesters in OHP to graduate with OHIO Honors. Interested students should email Geoff Buckley (buckleg1@ohio.edu) and Nicole Finnicum (finnicum@ohio.edu) for consideration.
