Coming to you live from the Radio and TV Building on College Street in Athens – it’s the WOUB Alumni Network!

Thank you for your interest in the WOUB Alumni Network! The experiential learning that WOUB Public Media provides Ohio University students is unmatched in the media industry and has been the foundation of many successful media careers for more than 70 years!

The goal of the WOUB Alumni Network is to connect and/or reconnect former WOUB students to support the current student experience at WOUB. Since 2020, Ohio University alumni who worked at WOUB when they were students have been giving back to WOUB to support the current student experience. They’ve given back financially and also by giving of their time and their industry connections to prepare current students to get great jobs upon graduation and support them as they start their careers. 

We are always open to new ideas and encourage WOUBers to join the WOUB Alumni Network Engagement Group, which meets quarterly via Zoom. Be sure to join the WOUB Alumni Network Facebook page or the #WOUBProud Career Boost Page on the Bobcat Network.

There are many ways to financially support the current student experience at WOUB. Alumni have created funds that help to pay students to work at WOUB and also provide professional development experiences. You can look over the list of funds and donate here.
