Welcome to the Robert D. Walter Center For Strategic Leadership, where we redefine leadership education through immersive experiences purposefully woven into our programs. We believe true leadership is honed through action, so our approach focuses on experiential leadership with hands-on learning.

We're dedicated to nurturing visionary leaders prepared to tackle the complexities of today's global challenges. Our advanced leadership development programs are designed to align with the demands of the corporate world, empowering students to lead with purpose, drive sustainable growth, and make a meaningful impact in their communities and beyond. Empowering Leaders Through Experience

Community Outreach The Walter Center engages in 30+ service/community outreach and service projects annually, allowing students to address local needs and promote community well-being with a servant leadership mindset. A key focus is our Sustainability Efforts with Tenderfoot Learning Labs, where students advance environmental stewardship and sustainable practices, fostering responsibility and civic engagement.
Networking Our networking trips and corporate visits offer students invaluable opportunities to connect with industry leaders, alumni, and professionals in various fields and industries.
Signature Events We host a variety of signature events to enhance professional development. These include the Etiquette Dinner for dining and networking skills in a formal setting, Lead Live with dynamic workshops and panels, The Leader Games Challenge and Eco-Challenge for strategic, critical, and sustainable thinking, and the Lancaster Speaker Series featuring distinguished leadership insights. Executive Engagements Every year, we organize an average of 35 executive engagements as part of our programs. These events vary in size and format, from virtual panel discussions with alumni to workshops and keynote addresses by corporate executives. These opportunities enable alumni to mentor current students, provide industry insights, and expand their professional networks.
