Biography

I have worked for 27 years as a mathematics instructor and curriculum specialist at the secondary and post-secondary levels. I have a key interest in mathematics technology and have presented across the United State for Texas Instruments and College Board. I currently serve as an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Mathematics Department at Ohio University. Being named a PAEMST Awardee in 2017 was one of the highlights of my career along with officiating the marriage ceremony for one of my former students in 2021. I am married to fellow math professor, Tracy Watson. We live in Coolville, Ohio, with our seven dogs. We love to ride our motorcycle and fish on the weekends.
