Dr. Christopher Kennedy earned the Bachelor of Sciences degree in Sports Science and Early Childhood Education, Master of Education degree in Reading Education, and Doctorate in Educational Administration from OHIO University in Athens, Ohio. Dr. Kennedy teaches courses in reading methods, phonics, reading assessment and remediation, developmental reading instruction, and content area literacy at both the graduate and undergraduate level. He is the coordinator of a professional development school partnership: the Alexander Elementary Partnership. His research is focused on how PDS partnership experiences prepare teacher candidates to teach reading and how PDS partnerships influence student learning in the partnering PK-12 schools.
