Growing up in Highland Heights, Ohio, Andrew never had a strong affiliation with any university, but after touring Ohio University and the Russ College of Engineering and Technology, that quickly changed. After seeing the campus and meeting with the Russ College professors, he knew there was no other choice but OHIO.
Outside of class and his involvement with Engineering Ambassadors, Andrew partakes in many other academic groups. He is the president of electrical engineering honor society Eta Kappa Nu and an active member of the local student branches of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and Tau Beta Pi. In addition, Andrew works in the Ohio University Avionics Engineering Center as an undergraduate researcher working in the field of navigation systems for autonomous drones.
In his free time, Andrew enjoys playing golf, watching baseball, and spending time with friends.
