Nichole Lowe
Expected Graduation: May 2014
Hometown: Milford, OH
Nichole chose to attend Ohio University because of its beautiful campus and size. Her high school graduating class had 60 people so she knew a larger college campus—but not too large—would fit her best and Ohio University was the perfect size. It has a large campus feel with plenty of people to meet and organizations to join, yet on a day-to-day basis students will almost always run into someone they know when walking around campus. Nichole is a Templeton Scholar which is Ohio University’s Multicultural full scholarship.
In her junior year, Nichole decided along with fellow peers to bring back the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) to Ohio University’s campus after a few years of inactivity. As a senior Nichole is the President of NSBE, the secretary for Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, and an Ohio University tutor.
For the past two summers she has interned with Procter & Gamble in their Duracell Battery division in Bethel, Connecticut. Upon graduation Nichole will work full time for Procter & Gamble Hair Care & Color in Cincinnati, OH.
