Nicole Sova

Nicole was drawn to Ohio University because of its friendly and inclusive atmosphere. Nicole has always enjoyed engineering and has had many incredible experiences because of the Cutler Scholars Program and the Russ College of Engineering and Technology. Nicole has spent summers in Ghana, Tanzania, and Brazil, and recently returned from an internship as an Amgen Scholar at the National Institute of Health. Nicole is excited to be back in Athens and have her sister joining the Bobcat family this year.
In addition to Engineering Ambassadors, Nicole does research in Dr. Monica Burdick’s lab and is involved in other engineering organizations. She is president of Bobcats Building a Better World and Ohio University’s Biomedical Engineering Society Student Chapter. She is also a member of the Robe Leadership Institute, the Society of Women Engineers, and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
