Twelve Studies in the Feminine Form

A series of twelve figure drawings over old newsprint catalogues.  The newsprint was primed with house paint and then mineral spirits were applied to the surface.  The mineral spirits melted the graphite of the figure drawing and the texture mixed with the white paint strokes.  The medium inspires and even motivates the marks that shape the subject.
