The College of Health Sciences and Professions is seeking nominations from students, faculty and staff for numerous awards that will be announced later this semester. Links to individual nomination forms include additional details about the awards, eligibility and nominations deadlines.
2022 CHSP Equity and Justice Award
The College of Health Sciences and Professions is seeking self-nominations for the 2022 CHSP Equity & Justice Award. This award was created by the college's Diversity & Inclusion Committee to recognize the work that is being done in the classroom and beyond by faculty and staff.
Randy Leite Engagement Award for Community and Clinical Partners
The College of Heath Sciences and Professions is seeking nominations for the Randy Leite Engagement Award for Community & Clinical Partners which was created to honor emeritus Dean Randy Leite at the time of his retirement.
The award is for a community or clinical placement partner (individual or organization) that emulates the true spirit of collaboration and mutually beneficial partnerships between the College of Health Sciences & Professions and the community.
Dean's Recognition Awards
These awards were created to acknowledge and honor the work that CHSP students and student organizations do for the college and the community.
Dean's Recognition Award for Outstanding First-Year Student
Award recipients for the outstanding first-year student award will have engaged in experiences both in and out of the classroom that have increased their responsibilities to the campus community and showing promise for future leadership in the college and beyond.
Dean's Recognition Award for Outstanding Learning Community
For a learning community that has excelled in connecting students to Ohio University, the College of Health Sciences and Professions, and the community-at-large this year.
Dean's Recognition Award for Outstanding Student Organization
To honor a student organization for its excellence in reaching goals and developing members personally and professionally through programming and connectedness to academics and future professionalism.
This award recognitions a student organization that makes a meaningful impact on the greater community (outside of the university).
Dean's Recognition Award for Outstanding Individual Contributor to a Student Organization
Recognizing the Individuals who make an impact on student organizations including positional leaders (officers), unsung heroes (non-officer leader), and advisors.
