College of Arts and Sciences, University College to join OHIO’s Business Services Center
The OHIO Business Service Center (OUBSC) has announced that both the College of Arts and Sciences and University College will begin transitioning to the service center in the upcoming weeks.
Both Procurement and Travel Services within the College of Arts and Sciences and University College will transition to OUBSC. University College’s Human Resources support will move to OUBSC as well.
“I am incredibly grateful for the partnership opportunities within both colleges and thank Dean (David) Nguyen and Interim Dean (Sarah) Poggione for their willingness to assist in piloting this project,” said Heather Krugman, executive director of the OUBSC. “Each college continues to share their own unique perspectives that can help improve our processes for the benefit of faculty, staff and students. I look forward to working with them.”
The College of Arts and Sciences and University College are the most recent colleges to join OHIO’s service center initiative. Previous transitions have included the Scripps College of Communication and Honors Tutorial College.
OHIO’s Business Service Center was established to help ensure consistent, simplified, high-quality administrative services in support of the academic mission, including, for example, travel and expense reimbursement, purchase of supplies and equipment, billing and human resources services.
