DUST… it’s where we come from and where we’re going, over and over, coming together and falling apart. The title work (world premiere) inhabits the cycle of destruction and reconstruction, and declares that we are in it together. Turns at the Intersection, a music and dance ensemble improvisation celebrates the one moment in time where things come together just so, only to disappear. A guest solo by Pamela Vail resists the pull of age, of dissolving, and valiantly (beautifully, comically) insists on sticking around long enough to take some new steps. The duet Oh, you, (part comedy and part tragedy) wonders how we get along on the way.
Directed by Jennifer Kayle, with collaborating dance-makers Pamela Vail and Anna Adams Stark, Alyssa Alber, Ellie Daley, Lena Lauer, Zoe Miller, Stephanie Miracle, Jason Palamara, Edward Rice, Margaret Steimel, Maurice Watson, and Donnell Williams.
