Andy Tucker

Andy Tucker joined the Innovation Center in December 2022 as the Lab Director and Regulatory Affairs Coach, where he manages the Innovation Center’s high-tech laboratories, facilities, and lab equipment. He assists Innovation Center clients with setting up laboratory spaces to fit their needs, provides them with technical assistance and advice, helps establish laboratory protocols, and trains staff on equipment usage.  He also provides coaching to clients on biotech, pharma, and manufacturing regulatory pathways and assists them in navigating regulatory standards.

Andy previously held the role of teaching lab coordinator for OHIO's biology department and has nearly 20 years of experience in relevant roles. His background also includes appointments at Harvard Medical School, the University of California San Francisco, and Stanford University. Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Evolutionary and Organismic Biology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He also holds an Entrepreneurship Center Management certificate from InBIA.
