Greg Newton is the associate dean for graduate studies, research, and creative activity. Prior to joining the Dean’s Office, he was a faculty member at the University of Oklahoma and in the School of Media Arts & Studies at Ohio University for 14 years, teaching and researching in the areas of media management and leadership, media law, and broadcast programming and promotion. In addition to scholarly pursuits, he has over a decade of radio experience as air talent, production director, and program director at several commercial and non-commercial stations in Illinois and Indiana and has worked as a freelance voice-over artist. He is a Past-President of the Broadcast Education Association; and serves as the faculty adviser for ACRN Media at Ohio University (http://www.acrn.com).
