Candice Rios Wenmoth is an Assistant Professor the School of Communication Studies. She currently serves as the COMS Internship Coordinator and Associate Director of Undergraduate Studies. She is a proud alumna of the program, earning her B.S. in Communication Studies with a focus in Organizational Communication from Ohio University. She went on to study Narrative Performance and Storytelling at the University of Maine (M.A.). Her research emphasizes the impact vulnerability in storytelling competitions. Today she incorporates storytelling, learning-as-doing, and connection within her classrooms. You might catch her walking around campus with her 5-year-old and toddler, two future bobcats. When she’s not teaching you can find her camping, hiking or at a music festival with her family.
