Richard Carr

Richard Carr serves Licking and northern Fairfield (including Canal Winchester and Pickerington) counties. Richard has more than 25 years of experience in small business development, process design, and operations management. He has successfully launched, managed, and exited several companies during his career. He brings his experience in contractor management, including capabilities analysis, qualifications, selection, and finished product quality review.

Richard received his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and is currently pursuing his Certified Business Advisor credentials. Prior to joining the OU Small Business Development Center, Carr co-founded Think Outside Boxes, a subscription box for children to teach them outdoor skills and served as Director of Operations for Burton Planning, a local planning and development company.
