The College of Arts & Sciences' Notable Alumni Award recognizes outstanding alumni. Arts & Sciences is committed to honoring alumni who have broad accomplishments in their careers, a commitment to community service, and involvement at Ohio University.

History of A&S Alumni Awards

Distinguished Alumni Awards honor alumni who are accomplished in their professional fields, provide outstanding service to the college or a department, or demonstrate leadership in community service.

Spirit Awards recognize alumni who have graduated within the last 15 years and whose accomplishments in one or more of three areas reflect the spirit, vitality, and high standards of the college.

Outstanding Friend of the College Awards recognize individuals who may or may not be alumni but who have exhibited unprecedented support of and loyalty to the college.

The Wilfred R. and Ann Lee Konneker Award for Distinguished and Enduring Service recognizes individuals who not only have remarkable achievement in their professional endeavors, or community service or service to the College, but in addition, have maintained a solid, selfless, unflagging dedication to Ohio University and its students over a period of years.
