Camp Boost

The Center for Intervention Research in Schools (CIRS) offers summer opportunities for students in different age groups to help them get a jump-start on the school year while providing a fun, social and recreational environment.

Camp Boost

Camp Boost is open to all children between the ages of 6 – 12, but space will be reserved for children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). There are 30-40 spots available for campers.

Spots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis for families that submit complete applications by the deadline.

Key Details

Camp Boost is a summer camp typically offered late July through mid-August.

This year, camp will be offered for two non-consecutive weeks. The first week of camp will be July 21st - 25th, and the second week of camp will be August 4th - 8th, 2025.

  • Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Location: Ohio University, Athens campus
  • Cost of the two-week camp: $120-160 per child per week (depending on sliding scale)
