Saw-Wai Hla Named Falling Walls 2024 Laureate in Physical Sciences
Dr. Saw-Wai Hla has been named the 2024 Laureate in the Physical Sciences by the prestigious Falling Walls Science Breakthrough of the Year awards for his ground-breaking research creating the world's first X-ray of a single atom.
His achievement in the 2024 Physical Science category honors his work as a physicist at Ohio University and the Argonne National Laboratory for "Breaking the Wall of 128 Years of X-ray History."
