Undergraduate Programs

The Department of Interdisciplinary Health Studies offers two routes for undergraduates to satisfy their curiosity about careers in health care.

The Bachelor of Integrated Health Care Studies program is designed primarily for individuals who have completed an associate degree in an allied health-related discipline and wish to further their education and career possibilities. It also prepares you for continued study in graduate education.

Department of Interdisciplinary Health Studies certificate programs are open to all students pursuing baccalaureate programs at Ohio University, regardless of college or major. The equivalent of minors, these interdisciplinary programs can complement your major, improve a skill set, broaden your career possibilities, and/or allow you to study an area of interest from a variety of perspectives.
