The Ohio University and OhioHealth residency programs are accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association as post-professional residency programs for physical therapists.

OhioHealth offers strong and varied clinical experiences with advanced clinical mentoring by physical therapists and physicians, while the Ohio University Department of Physical Therapy offers exceptional learning experiences through coursework, advanced clinical and teaching mentorship, and research opportunities. The specific advantages of this partnership are to improve patient care and to enrich and build the careers of the residents. Each of the first three orthopedic residents has passed the OCS examination upon completion of the residency.
