Quilt Square Inspiration

This community quilt project is a chance to make sure every voice is represented.

How it Works

Physical Quilt

You can participate by making a physical quilt square using 7" x 7" muslin or cotton fabric.  Be sure to leave a 1/2" margin on each side so that they can be sewn together. (Your final design should be 6x6.) It can be decorated with any medium you like: fabric paint, permanent marker, embroidery, or other fabric. Create a design that represents you as part of the past, present, or future of OHIO. Be sure to include your name and graduation year on the square.

Look for JNT200 tables at various events to pick up or turn in quilt squares. You can also turn turn them in at the Office of Diversity and Inclusion in Baker Center.

Digital Quilt

You can participate in the digital quilt project by submitting a 6" x 6" digital design using any software you choose. You can also take a picture of a design using other mediums or of the physical quilt square you created.
