As a graduate, the Women’s Center can help you no matter your stage of professional development. The following programs are offered annually and are just a sample of what the Women’s Center can do for you:
- AAUW Start Smart Salary Negotiation Workshop: Learn from The American Association of University Women how to understand and articulate your value as an employee in this hands-on workshop designed to empower women to close the wage gap. This program is also supported by the Graduate College and the Career Network.
- The Women in Graduate School Day Conference: This spring event will empower you with a wide range of opportunities to address issues that women face in graduate school and the job market.
- Stay Out of Your Own Way: How Gendered Stereotypes Threaten Our Success: Learn about the ways in which women have been socialized to undersell their skills, and work to develop new ways of speaking about yourself and your abilities.
