OHIO Center for Clinical Practice in Education

Welcome to the newly reorganized OHIO Center for Clinical Practice in Education. Our center oversees all clinical experiences in teaching through the Patton College of Education, including early field, professional development school placement, and professional internship experiences.  

Our mission of positively impacting P-12 student learning is accomplished through a clinical practice model. Together with our school partners, the OHIO Center for Clinical Practice in Education engages in a community-fostered approach to place teacher candidates in educational settings that benefit all stakeholders.  Patton College teacher candidates are afforded a variety of opportunities to study and practice their craft.  Ultimately, this active engagement and extended time in classroom settings provides the Patton College teacher candidates with the tools they need to be successful educators.
