Principal Leadership and Licensure Certificate
Program Code: CTPLLG (Athens)
Program Code: CTPLRG (Regional)
Overview
Through a balanced online and in-class instructional approach, the principal certificate program is a 17-credit program completed over three semesters. The courses align with National Educational Leadership Preparation (NELP) standards, embed key Ohio educational initiatives, and include an internship that prepares candidates for the required Ohio licensure exam and school leadership. The program format is a cohort model that meets on Saturdays to accommodate working professionals. New cohorts begin each summer (applications due by April 15) at the Athens and various regional campuses.
