Dr. Michael Williford has taught graduate courses in college student personnel, educational measurement, research methods, educational statistics, institutional research and planning, and assessment and evaluation in The Patton College of Education since 1989. He has over 50 book chapters, journal articles, and professional presentations on student outcomes assessment, student success, admissions, institutional research, and other topics related to higher education administration. He served as Director of Institutional Research at Ohio University for 23 years and has over 35 years of administrative experience in higher education in areas such as admissions, enrollment planning, institutional research and assessment, and institutional accreditation. He coordinated Ohio University’s 2015 reaffirmation of accreditation with the Higher Learning Commission (formerly North Central Association of Colleges and Schools). He serves as Consultant-Evaluator and Institutional Actions Council member with the Higher Learning Commission.
