Naphthenic Acid Corrosion Facility
A test facility was built within the main facility of the Institute to exclusively study the effects of naphthenic acid corrosion in refineries. It includes three test systems: A high-velocity rotating cylinder autoclave, a flow-through mini-autoclave, and a battery of six stirred autoclaves.
