Music Industry Summit
Each year, the Ohio University Music Industry Summit features an exclusive gathering of prominent artists and music industry leaders for informative panels and compelling interviews, as well as networking and learning opportunities for registrants. There are also volunteer opportunities for students for this annual event.
There are about 20-30 student volunteers that help with this event. Most are within the week of the event, while others assist in more long-term planning, as far as 6 months out.
The Ohio University Music Industry Summit was named one of the 7 essential music conferences of 2022, alongside of South by Southwest, Music Biz Nashville, and more.
In 2022, the Summit raised $15,000 for the national arts & music education initiatives of the Newport Festivals Foundation and $6,000 for regional arts & music education initiatives at Stuart’s Opera House from the sold-out Caamp show at TB Memorial Auditorium on Night 02.
Grammy-nominee/NYT Best-selling author Michelle Zauner flew here directly from the Grammys to deliver the Day 01 keynote and DJ the Opening Night Party.
