University Innovation Fellows ("UIF") program - organized by Stanford University

In 2015, two Ohio University students joined the University Innovation Fellows after realizing they wanted to learn how to make a difference on their campus. After developing the design thinking, innovation and entrepreneurship tools to become powerful changemakers, Lori and Alex started a small movement to create a hub for multidisciplinary and innovative collaboration on campus. Four years later, after joining forces with the following cohorts of OHIO's University Innovation Fellows, their vision came true, and CoLab launched in the Fall of 2018.

The University Innovation Fellows program believes that students can change the world. Through the principles of design thinking, entrepreneurship and innovation, the program empowers students to become leaders of change in higher education. We hope you'll join us.

Candidates must first apply to the Ohio University Cohort before applying to Stanford's University Innovation Fellows application. The UIF program involves an on-campus component as well as travel to California for the annual UIF meetup. Students selected will be responsible for raising funding for their trip to California.
