New enhancements to the OBI Finance dashboard for General Ledger Transaction Export

Changes were implemented Thursday evening, May 21, 2020 to the OBI Finance dashboard for the General Ledger Transaction Export process.

In the past when trying to export entries across a large number of accounts strings the query would run for a very long time, or, if there were too many sections, it would error out.  Then if you had a lot of sections, it was displaying the data as you scrolled down, so it took a long time to get to the bottom to use the Export function.

Now there is a new prompt titled 'Report Type' to choose either the traditional Sectioned Report or a new Tabular Report.

A snippet of the new field from the General Ledger Transaction Export screen is shown below:

The default is a Sectioned Report.  If the user has too many sections to render the report, the will still receive an error but now can just change to the Tabular Report.

From either the Sectioned or Tabular reports the user can still use the Export options at the bottom of the screen.
