Contacting the Financial Aid Office

Availability of University Employees for Information Dissemination

The University is required to designate an employee or group of employees to assist enrolled or prospective students in obtaining all required consumer information. Ohio University has designated the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships to be available, upon reasonable notice, to any enrolled or prospective student throughout the normal administrative working hours - Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please be prepared to give your PID number when contacting our office. 

If you have questions about your financial aid, you can call our office (740.593.4141) or stop by in Chubb Hall, room 020. If you need an appointment, you can schedule an in-person or Microsoft Teams appointment with your assigned financial aid advisor by selecting the appropriate link below their name. If your assigned advisor is not available for an in-person appointment on the specific day you are available on campus, you can call our office or select a different advisor.

If you do need to submit documents to complete the verification process, we recommend you use our Secure Upload Portal (see our Troubleshooting Guide for assistance). This is a secure method to transmit your documents to our office. When using this portal, we recommend that you do not use a Safari browser. You can also drop documents off at our office in Chubb Hall, room 020, or place them in a drop box located inside the south entrance doors on the ground floor of Chubb Hall (Court Street side of the building).
