For all Bobcats: students, faculty, and staff: no experience necessary
A weekly mindfulness practice or meditation that will help you minimize stress and maximize focus as we navigate Covid-19 together. The 20-minute Monday session will introduce a series of practices to help navigate university life, on and off campus. They will be diverse in nature and include meditation, mindfulness, yoga inspired movement, and creative processing.
Mindfulness is paying attention to the present moment and can be done anywhere at any time. Practices often include cultivating a heightened sensory experience
Meditation is often a more formal practice where the attention is focused inward. Anchors for meditation may include the breath, a mantra, movement, or something sensory.
