M.A. in Theater
The Master of Arts (M.A.) in Theater is intended to serve students who wish to gain additional in-depth study in a particular field without committing to a full three-year M.F.A. program.

Courses of study must be delineated with the student’s primary advisor at the beginning of coursework. Course content varies from year to year based on projected course offerings.

- Stage Management
Career Opportunities
Ohio University M.A. students have multiple options upon graduation. Many chose graduate study and others enter directly into their field of choice. Occasionally it is possible to apply to the OHIO Theater M.F.A. program of choice after a successful first year in the M.A. and credit may be transferred to that program.
Please contact the Theater Main Office at 740.593.4818 or theater@ohio.edu to speak to an advisor about this program.
