Great Minds Fellowship Program

Great Minds Fellowship

NOTE: The Ohio University Great Minds Fellowship program has successfully awarded all of the state funds received to assist in preparing professionals ready to become part of Ohio’s community behavioral health workforce. We do not anticipate additional fund becoming available through this program.

Ohio University is committed to developing prepared professionals ready to become part of Ohio’s community behavioral health workforce. As part of the State of Ohio's Great Minds Fellowship Program (opens in a new window), students enrolled in OHIO’s bachelor of social work, master of social work or master of counseling program were eligible for individual scholarship awards.

The Great Minds Fellowship Program allowed for a maximum award of $15,000 per student, for students who are committed to performing their clinical or field work and a year of post-graduation employment at a participating community behavioral health provider.
