The Special Education Program offers a range of online master's degrees to meet your professional needs. The program centers on the delivery of quality services and the promotion of equitable education for all students.

Majors Offered

  • Intervention Specialist
    • Mild to Moderate (MM) Educational Needs
      Leads to a teaching license for teaching students with specific learning disabilities, mild cognitive disabilities, and/or emotional disturbance.
    • Moderate to Intensive (MI) Educational Needs
      Leads to a teaching license for teaching students with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities and/or multi-handicapping conditions.
    • Early Childhood Intervention Specialist (ECIS)
      Leads to a teaching license for teaching children with special needs ages 3 to 10 (PreK through grade 5).
