Thirteen Studies in the Feminine Form

A series of thirteen drawings in graphite over newsprint primed with house paint.  The primed paper was placed on a drawing board and mineral spirts were poured over the dry paint.  The figures were then made by drawing with graphite sticks on the wet surface.  This combination causes the graphite to melt against the paper and reveal the brushstrokes of paint underneath.
