Laying out a Hogan Site 

Click on the video to see a demonstration of how a traditional Navajo dwelling, or hogan, is laid out. A viewer stands on a projection of footprints on the floor to activate the motion sensor activity. The interactive activity, presented in the gallery, is not to scale. A hogan is much larger, but this can show how two people with a length of cord can quickly and accurately plot out the foundation of a hogan.
