Latest 'ohiowomen' features alumnae coast to coast
The fall 2017 issue of 'ohiowomen' includes conversations with alumnae from coast to coast.
The 2017 issue of ohiowomen, arriving in mailboxes soon, explores what alumnae are doing that’s unique — as well as what connects them across career fields, grad years, and physical locations.
“Change is all around us. As the leaves outside turn, the 2017 issue of ohiowomen turns to female Bobcats from across the country to hear how they take on the inevitable changes of life,” Editor Pete Shooner said.
The issue also adopts the award-winning redesign of ohiotoday, unveiled this summer.
Inside and at ohiotoday.org you’ll read about:
- Six alumnae friends living in San Francisco, who share how they help each other navigate the male-dominated tech industry.
- Washington, D.C.-based alumnae staying true to their Bobcat roots while working inside the Beltway.
- Midwest alumnae navigating the changing landscapes of media, career transition, and womanhood. ohiowomen sat down with alumnae in Beaver, Pennsylvania, and Cincinnati.
- 2016 Distinguished Professor Judith Yaross Lee, who explores the essence of humor with Interim Provost David Descutner.
- OHIO’s high-achieving students are waging some internal battles you might find surprising. Read how women's advocate Rachel Simmons shared tools for squashing their self-doubt and fear.
ohiowomen and its related content at ohiotoday.org publish annually. These publications are free.
