The Ohio University Marching 110 rock Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Last week, the Ohio University Marching 110 was featured on one of the world’s biggest stages during the 91st Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade® in New York City.

The opportunity arrived in the midst of a landmark season for the Marching 110 -- they’re currently celebrating the 50th anniversary of the band’s “big switch,” in which then-director Gene Thrailkill introduced the hard-driving, high-energy style exuded by all members of today’s internationally-known marching band.

Here's an inside look at the band's once-in-a-lifetime experience with family, friends and alumni during their appearance in the 2017 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and various stops across New York City.
