Volunteers needed for Spring Commencement

 

The Division of Student Affairs is seeking volunteers from the Ohio University community to assist with the 2018 Spring Commencement Ceremonies. To sign up, click here

All Spring Commencement Ceremonies will take place in Ohio University’s Convocation Center. Volunteers are needed for the following ceremonies:

Graduate Commencement (Friday, May 4) 

  • Please arrive at the Convocation Center no later than 7:30 a.m.
  • Doors to the public will open at approximately 8 a.m.
  • The ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m. and is expected to last 2-2.5 hours.

Undergraduate AM Ceremony (Saturday, May 5)

  • Please arrive at the Convocation Center no later than 7:30 a.m.
  • Doors to the public will open at approximately 8 a.m.
  • The ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m. and is expected to last 2-2.5 hours.

Undergraduate PM Ceremony (Saturday, May 5)

  • Please arrive at the Convocation Center no later than noon.
  • Doors to the public will open at approximately 12:30 p.m.
  • The ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. and is expected to last 2-2.5 hours.

Spring Commencement volunteer sign-ups will remain open through April 13. Registered volunteers will receive email communications from Event Services staff regarding assignments and volunteer training opportunities.
