University hosting competition to rename ‘C-Suite,’ submission deadline is April 27

Ohio University is hosting a “Name that Space” competition to rename the space now referred to as C-Suite.

Entries from students, faculty and staff must be submitted by Friday, April 27, and will be judged by a panel of students with the winner announced in early May.

This summer, OHIO will create a cross-disciplinary space that will serve as a “one-stop shop” for innovation, ideation and entrepreneurship on the third floor of Alden Library.

Designed to unite students from all majors and backgrounds, the space will facilitate cross-disciplinary conversations and collaboration. The space will include an open communal area, a materialization area containing collaborative space and materials to encourage ideation, small incubation pods, conference rooms and a student and faculty workspace.

The student team leading this project seeks a name that best embodies the space as a campus-wide hub for student innovation and entrepreneurial activities. The name that best reflects the physical and environmental assets of the space and its availability to all students will be selected as the winner.

In addition to bragging rights, the winner will receive $250 and be invited to the grand opening of the space next academic year. All OHIO students, faculty and staff are encouraged to submit an entry.
