Table Top Exercises
Summer is often a great time for offices to schedule a table top exercise for their staff. These one to two hour departmental trainings simulate an emergency situation that will have a direct impact on the standard business operations of the campus community.

These hypothetical situations are designed to test individual unit preparedness in an informal, low stress environment and participants are encouraged to use the experience as an opportunity to better understand and acknowledge risk potential and to clarify roles and responsibilities.

The goal of the exercise is to identify “action steps” to better prepare the unit for an unexpected event, as well as to provide a more clear vision and understanding of how the unit will/can function post-crisis.

Email wyatt@ohio.edu if you would like to discuss a table top exercise for your team.
