iCUE Spotlight: Aug. 17-23, 2018
Take a look at the upcoming events on the official OHIO Calendar of University Events. Anyone with an active OHIO ID can log in and complete the form to add events that are sponsored by any OHIO planning unit or registered student organization.
So be sure to add your OHIO events, programs and deadlines to the CUE to help keep all members of our University community in the loop!
Here’s a look at a few upcoming events:
Public Telescope Nights at the Ohio University Observatory
9 - 11 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Aug. 17-18 | The Ridges Observatory
Visitors may see lunar craters, Saturn's rings, Jupiter, Mars, star clusters, or distant galaxies, depending on the time of year and sky conditions.
Bobcat Student Orientation – Transfer Student Orientation
8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23 | Athens Campus
Bobcat Student Orientation for transfer students who did not attend orientation during the summer.
Residence halls open (plan to arrive according to move-in schedule
9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23 | Athens Campus
New students on 1st Floor Residence Halls from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., New students on 2nd Floor Residence Halls from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., LINKS participants (9 a.m. - noon), Bromley Hall 4th floor from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Bromley Hall 9th floor from noon to 2 p.m., Bromley Hall 8th floor from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Individuals with disabilities or who require special assistance must request help in advance of arrival by calling Housing and Residence Life at 740-593-4090. Bromley residents please visit www.ohio.edu/arrival-guide/halls for your hall specific move-in schedule.
