Multicultural Student Expo 2018 is Aug. 30

The Ohio University Office for Diversity and Inclusion and the Black Student Union will host the 2018 Multicultural Student Expo at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, in the Baker University Center Ballroom. The event is free and open to the public.

The event allows multicultural students to meet new friends, network with faculty and staff and learn more about academic and social offerings. About 40 student organizations will host a table at the event. Attendees also will enjoy music, singing, dancing, free food and drinks and a Greek fraternity and sorority stroll.

The Athens Walmart, which is the corporate sponsor of the event, will discuss its available positions and internships with attendees during the event and give away gift cards to first-year students via a raffle.
