Parents & Families: Parents encouraged to become authorized users on student accounts

Authorized user sign-up

The Office of the Bursar strongly suggests that parents discuss with their student the option of becoming an authorized user on their account. Students can sign up an authorized user through their My OHIO Student Center under the Finances section. Becoming an authorized user will allow parents to view student account activity, make payments, enroll in a semester payment plan, manage waivable fees and view 1098-T information. Authorized users will also receive e-mail notifications regarding student account balances. If you are using your student’s username and password to access their My OHIO Student Center, you are not currently being sent the email notifications from our office. Payment plan due dates

The first payment plan due date for Fall semester 2018-19 is Sept. 21. The second due date for the payment plan is Oct. 21. OHIO students should review their My OHIO Student Center for account balance information. Authorized users can also access account balance information on the Authorized User Portal.
