iCUE Spotlight: Jan. 11-17, 2019

Take a look at the upcoming events on the official OHIO Calendar of University Events. Anyone with an active OHIO ID can log in and complete the form to add events that are sponsored by any OHIO planning unit or registered student organization.

Here’s a look at a few upcoming events:

ACMS 40th Anniversary Gala Concert

Saturday, Jan. 12, 7 p.m., Glidden Hall, 3 Health Center Drive, Athens OH 45701

Music will be performed by ACMS faculty members Melissa Brobeck, Alexandra Bruno, John Horne, Daniel Mullins, Anne Marie Scotto, and Director Wendy Blackwood. The much-loved Athens Youth Chorus will also be performing with present and past members.

Triathlon Training Classes Begin

Tuesday, Jan. 15, 6 a.m., WellWorks, Grover Center E124, 53 Richland Ave., Athens OH 45701

This 14-week class will provide short lectures on how to properly prepare for and navigate a triathlon and offer progressive physical training to help you get into top shape. The cost is $45 for WellWorks members and $95 for non-members.

Student Research and Creative Activity Expo Registration Opens

Wednesday, Jan. 16, All Day, Athens OH 45701

For the past 16 years, hundreds of undergraduate, graduate, and medical students have gathered at the Convocation Center to present their original work at Ohio University's annual Student Research and Creative Activity Expo. The Expo will take place April 11.
